Our junior teams sure seem to be showing the seniors how it's done - but we have plenty of great news out of our senior teams too, with 5 of 6 teams in Top 4 positions!

In a very tight Division 1 competition, four straight wins have put Padres back in business at the top of the table on a 15-7 record. The team will be working hard to continue their streak against a strong Redsox team first game back who are sitting 1.5 wins away from top spot and have the best run difference in the league.

In Division 2, Redcliffe have racked up two more games than most of their opposition but on win percentage currently sit in third spot on 70%. Having dropped games against the two teams ahead of it, the team also went down to fifth-placed Redsox in its last match-up so will be hoping to consolidated its spot in the Top 4 the first week back.

Division 3's last game of the season saw them fall off the top perch, conceding their first loss to defending premiers, the Demons. Despite the loss, the team's impressive 87.5% win percentage and tight head-to-head win over Bulldogs puts them in second spot going into 2019.

Division 4 had their top-of-the-table clash against Demons washed out in the last match of their season, leaving them in third spot. Unfortunately Demons also saw a washout against second-placed Redsox Red, meaning the team remains unbeaten against the lower seeds. Division 4 will join Division 3 in a trek up the mountain to take on Toowoomba Rangers first week back.

The only Padres side out of the Top 4, Division 5, have shown incredible determination so far this season. Having only claimed one win, the team are yet to be left scoreless, scoring 82 runs so far this season, including eight against first-placed Carina Redsox. The team will face Western Bulldogs first game back, the side it claimed its first victory from in 2018.

Finally our Masters team, who like Division 1 are top-of-the-pops in their Monday night competition. The team have dropped only one game, against Pine Rivers Rapids, whose run difference of 95 demonstrates Padres will have no easy run into the playoffs!

All of our teams are looking hot to trot heading into 2019 - bring it on!
