Facility Upgrades

Our Committee have been working hard leading into our upcoming season, obtaining grants and working with the Moreton Bay Regional Council to upgrade our frequented facilities.

Diamonds 1 and 2 backnets are part-way through a major preventative refurbished project. After 14 years since their installation, rusted cross bars have been removed and replaced, all poles and cross bars rustproofed and plastic coated netting fully replaced.

Our Little League field is also getting a facelift with concrete pads laid for covered shaded spectator seating. Many thanks to club member and concreter, Nick Mcgee!

Further ground works are set down at the end of season when Field 1 surface will be levelled and turf relayed with an irrigation upgrade.

Thanks to the committee and Padres grants coordinator, Katrina Holmes, for your ongoing hard work!

Thanks to
David HopkinsKeith Sharpe, Gavin Griffin-Thomas and Jamie for assisting with the Diamond Deco Day. The boys managed to get all of Field 1 done but ran out of Deco so Field 2 will have to be next Sunday!
